ABOUT

EchoStar Mobile Limited, an Irish company with commercial operations headquartered in the United Kingdom and a data centre based in Griesheim, Germany, is a mobile operator that provides connectivity across Europe through a hybrid satellite and terrestrial network. EchoStar Mobile is a subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation, a premier global provider of satellite and video delivery solutions.

EchoStar Mobile is committed to working with European Union (EU) member states and across Europe to deliver a next-generation mobile communications network based on an integrated mobile satellite services (MSS) and terrestrial infrastructure. This network will provide EchoStar Mobile's customers with easier communication and access to reliable digital technologies and advanced applications.

S-Band Spectrum with Total European Coverage

In Europe EchoStar Mobile holds an S-Band MSS and Complementary Ground Component (CGC) license that can offer mobile voice and band data services with complete coverage across Europe. EchoStar Mobile’s S-band spectrum enables mobile service providers it partners with to operate in the 2 GHz S-band range. In addition, with rights to 15 MHz x-15 MHz paired spectrum, EchoStar Mobile can coordinate services across Europe in a single spectrum range.
